Nguyen Xuan Thanh previously served as the Head of the Business Administration Department at Phu Xuan University. Currently, he holds the position of Deputy Director at the Institute for Development Cooperation within Phu Xuan University, under the EQUEST Education Group. Additionally, he serves as the Vice President of the Start-Up Community in Thua Thien Hue Province, Vietnam.
Omlas Project: His project aims to establish a network called BUD (Businesses - Universities-Disabilities). BUD aspires to empower disabled individuals to become successful entrepreneurs, fostering both economic independence and social inclusion. The project plans to engage over 20 disabled individuals in product development, focusing on areas such as paper flower and pottery creation. By leveraging his connections with over 7,000 businesses within the Start-Up Community, the project will facilitate networking, marketing, and skills training for these disabled entrepreneurs. Collaboration with universities, particularly through student involvement, will enhance awareness and ensure the project's sustainability. Partnerships with established institutions like Phu Xuan University and the Start-Up Community will further expand the project's expertise and support network, guaranteeing its success in driving societal change. He is planning implement the project in Thua Thien Hue Province, Vietnam targeting Sustainable Development Goals; SDG 8:Decent Work and Economic Growth, and SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities.
